Welcome to the Derwin Griffith State Farm Agency!

For the past eight years, I've had the privilege of serving as a State Farm agent, helping individuals, families, and business owners with their Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Pet Insurance needs. Our team is committed to providing outstanding customer service and helping customers understand their insurance options so they can make informed decisions.

I was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, and attended Post University. Family is at the center of everything I do. My wife, Andrea, and our daughter, Amina, are my greatest inspiration, and they remind me every day why helping others protect what matters most is so important. Outside of the office, I enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with my family.

I became an insurance agent because I saw a need for greater education within our community about the importance of insurance and preparing for the future. I wanted to create an agency where customers feel comfortable asking questions, learning about their options, and receiving the information they need to make confident decisions.

What sets our agency apart is our commitment to education and customer service. Every customer has unique goals and priorities, so we take the time to listen, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations to better understand their needs. We believe that building strong relationships starts with communication, and treating every customer with the same care and respect we would want for our own families.

I also hold a (ChFC®) designation, reflecting my commitment to continued professional development and expanding my knowledge within the insurance industry.

Giving back to the community is an important part of who I am. I proudly serve as a Board Member of the Bristol Symphony Board and enjoy supporting organizations that help strengthen the community we call home.
